Budo Camp 2009September 25-27, 2009Omaha, Nebraska USAnne“Budo Camp: We do not rise to the level of our expectations. We fall to the level of our training.” The words emblazoned on the back of the t-shirt say it all. An annual three day seminar that brings together martial artists from around the world, Budo Camp is a weekend of training, learning, and fun. Experts from numerous martial arts styles gather to share their knowledge with event attendees in specialized training sessions. 2006 Budo Camp sessions included Aikido, Kempo Karate, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Kyusho Jitsu among others. Originating with Sensei Gary Boaz of Professional Martial Arts, the camp allows participants to train in a variety of martial arts to supplement their own styles. Sessions run from one to two hours and include introductory material in various martial arts taught by accomplished instructors in their respective styles. Budo Camp is different then many other martial art camps in that the Attendees are there with intent to broaden their martial arts and their mind. The weekend accommodates martial artists of all ranks and experience levels. If you are looking for an opportunity to train in a multitude of styles and broaden your scope of knowledge in the martial arts, Budo Camp is the event for you.te Nate Burkman April 2007 |
