Master Dr. David Crouch
Dr. David Crouch, DC, started his martial arts training in 1971 in kenpo and jujutsu, and has been training and teaching actively since. His training background includes American, Hawaiian, and Chinese Kenpo; Japanese and Brazilian Jujutsu; Judo; Aikijujutsu; Tien Shan Pai Kung Fu; Kenjutsu; Taekwondo; Shorinji Kempo; American and Muay Thai kickboxing; ARNIS, and more.
Among his instructors have been several notable professors of the arts, all to whom he owes a great debt of gratitude. In addition to his formal training, he has studied and worked extensively with a number of mind-body disciplines seeking to further understand, utilize, and disseminate the practical dimensions of supra-mental connection in the martial arts. As a Black Belt Instructor and specialist in sports biomechanics, Dave continues to coach human movement dynamics in self-defense, & works as a peak performance trainer throughout the United States and Europe
Dave is a Certified Master Practitioner and Trainer (SWANLP) of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, a Master Hypnotherapist, and has extensive training in the fields of peak performance improvement and communication excellence; he?s studied with co-developers of NLP, and eminent associates of the late Milton H. Erickson, MD. Clients have included professional sports teams and Olympic athletes. |

Sensei Ryan Angel SL-4 Kenpo
PROFESSOR RYAN ANGELL

Professor Ryan Angell started his American Kenpo training over 20 years ago when he moved to Los Angeles from his native Seattle and found The Martial Science University™ (MSU). Although having studied Shotokan, Wing Chung and Kali, prior to coming to Los Angeles, he soon fell in love with American Kenpo under his new instructor and student of Ed Parker Sr., Dr. Ron Chapél.
Mr. Angell has been under the direct instruction of Dr. Chapél ever since, and continues to train in Sublevel Four Kenpo™ to the present. He is one of Dr. Chapél's senior and accomplished students, and currently is The Dean of Education, entitled to the title "Professor" and the rank of 6th Degree Black Belt, "Master of the Arts." Professor Angell has participated in many venues during his career including the original International Karate Championships in Long Beach, California and the European International Karate Championships in Norkoepping, Sweden.
Over the last ten years, Professor Angell has traveled throughout the United States, Mexico and Europe as an assistant instructor to Dr. Chapél, teaching his own separate seminars.
Through Dr. Chapél's over 40+ years in law enforcement, Professor Angell has been involved in the training of celebrity security details as well as federal, state and local law enforcement agencies. He also holds certification in Advanced Field Tactics for Arrest and Control.
Recently, while maintaining his training and teaching at The MSU, Professor Angell has had formal training in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). While at school he studied several elements of TCM such as meridian and point location and Five Element Theory, which have enhanced his understanding of the Martial Sciences. He currently has a licensed private practice where he treats his clients with Acupressure and herbal & nutritional consultations.

Marc Monaco
Marc has trained in the discipline of Jiu-Jitsu since 2004. He holds a 2nd Degree Black Belt in American Jiu-Jitsu under Randy Pace and a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Royler Gracie Black Belt, Mike Mrkulic. Impressively, he has competed in many local and nationally ranked Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and submission grappling events, most notably the Arnolds/Gracie Worlds, Grapplers Quest Vegas, the Best of the Best ProAms, and the Arnolds Grappling Championships in which he won a Bronze medal in 2007. Locally, he was the 2007 Extreme MMA Light-Heavyweight Champion, as well as a Silver medalist in both the Gi and No Gi divisions of the 2006 Capital City Combat memorial fundraiser grappling event. Marc was a Silver medalist for the First Brigade Boxing Team in 1999, a feat he accomplished while enlisted in the U.S. Army for four active years. He has both organized and taught self-defense and Jiu-Jitsu seminars and workshops to the United States Armed Forces, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and other training facilities.

Sensei Shawn Steiner
Shawn Steiner is a 5th degree black belt in Shaolin Kempo Karate. He is owner and Cheif instructor of Steiner Academy of Martial Arts in Omaha. He is also the local Kyusho International Representative in Omaha Nebraska. He is a diverse martial artist with a tremendous love for the arts both teaching and learning.. His classes are as dynamic as they are educational. Sensei Steiner is a certified instructor (IL-2)in Kyusho International and holds rank and a teaching certificate in Shinkendo, a live sword art developed by Obata Toshishiro Kaiso. Steiner is a senior Instrutor with Force Options tactical training services.

Gary Boaz Sensei
Gary Boaz is the Chief Instructor of Aikido at Professional Martial Arts. He has been a student of the martial arts since May of 1991 when he started his path in Aikido under Shihan Bill Sosa. Mr. Boaz holds the rank of yondan, or 4th Degree Black Belt, and is now an independent Aikido Dojo under Fred Mastison Sensei, 5th Degree Black Belt (godan), founder of Aikido Of Phoenix. Mr. Boaz now teaches very practical forms of self-defense through the martial arts experience that he has gained over the years. In addition to his traditional martial arts training, he is also a certified Defensive Tactics Instructor for Force Options of Phoenix, AZ. He has instructed several companies of Military Police at Ft. Riley in Junction City Kansas and Law Enforcement personnel in his hometown of Topeka, KS. He also regularly helps with Defensive Tactics Instruction for the Topeka Correctional Facility.

Sensei Chad Seibert
Chad Seibert has been training in the Martial Arts for 10 years and was recently promoted to 4th Degree Black Belt in RyuKyu Kempo and is a senior student under Grandmaster Gary Rooks. Chad also holds a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Maududo and during college founded the Miami University Self Defense Club. He has trained extensively in Kyusho since 1997 and has also studied tactical shooting as well beginning training in the Russian Martial Art of Systema in 2004. Additionally, Chad has also studied several healing and spiritual modalities in order to improve the mind-body-spirit connection and complement his Martial Arts. |

Fred Mastison Sensei
Mastison Sensei holds the rank of 5th Dan in Aikido and is the Chief Instructor of Aikido of Phoenix. He is entering his 30th year in the martial arts. Mastison Sensei believes firmly in teaching Aikido and the martial arts in general as a Budo. It must balance real life technique with philosophical development in order to be complete. This is reflected in all of his teachings as well as his life. In addition to teaching Aikido, Mastison Sensei is also the president of Force Options Tactical Training Services. In this division he teaches defensive tactics,SWAT operator enhancement, and CQB courses to the military and law-enforcement. Prior to his move to Arizona Mastison Sensei was contracted a senior instructor for the United States Army for two and a half years. He has trained hundreds of soldiers and police officers in CQB style defensive tactics. He currently holds one of the largest defensive tactics courses in the country each summer. He was recently promoted to 7th dan in Aikijitsu and is a 2 time inductee into the US Martial Arts Hall of Fame. |
